Danielle s'occupait du toutou depuis 6 semaines, quand le refuge Humane Society for Inland Mendocino en Californie l'a contactée.
Une grande hésitation
Les sauveteurs lui ont demandé de venir au refuge, car le toutou avait été adopté.
De leur côté, Danielle et sa famille s'étaient attachés à Fabian. Ils hésitaient à le garder pour toujours chez eux.
En effet, Fabian s'entendait à merveille avec toute la famille. En juillet dernier, les parents de Danielle étaient venus pour le rencontrer depuis l'Idaho et le courant était parfaitement passé.
Les sauveteurs du refuge ont demandé à Danielle d'examiner le dossier de candidature et...
Tout a changé au moment où Danielle a examiné le dossier d'adoption !
Des larmes de joie
Lorsque Danielle a lu sur les papiers d'adoption le nom de sa mère, elle s'est effondrée en larmes. Elle a réalisé, à sa plus grande joie, que sa maman avait décidé d'adopter pour toujours Fabian !
Même si c'était une surprise, c'était quelque chose dont elle avait déjà discuté avec sa mère. Danielle avait elle-même hésité à adopter Fabian. Elle est absolument ravie de savoir que le toutou restera pour toujours dans sa famille.
Désormais, le toutou a été renommé Stan et il vit sa meilleure vie dans le ranch de sa mère.
Il a sa propre place dans la camionnette de ses parents. Il fait du camping, du shopping et de nombreux voyages avec ses parents. Il profite de chaque jour merveilleux qu'il passe avec sa famille !

Fabian has been in a wonderful foster home with Danielle and the Ault family for the last 6 weeks. He was rescued from the wilderness of Covelo with his brothers making up the “F” litter. Each week we all hoped and prayed his family would come along to adopt him but by closing time we were loading him back up to go home with his foster family. Fabian kept striking out and being such a wonderful puppy we were all scratching our heads. But Fabian may have known something we didn’t and he was waiting for this special moment… About this video: An adoption application came in this morning for Fabian and we jumped for joy! Our staff immediately called and soon found out this was a special case. It was Danielle’s mom Vicki calling all the way from Idaho letting us know she was ready to make Fabian’s adoption dreams come true. And clearly she made Danielle’s dreams come true too, as you can see in this video. Danielle was secretly hoping her mom would reach out and make the call to give Fabian a forever home but she didn’t want to be pushy. So each weekend she brought him in for our open hours wondering if this would be the weekend where her mom would miss the chance to adopt her sweet foster puppy. We called Danielle into the office today asking her to come help us review an application for Fabian that was a little different. We told her we needed her help us make sure it was a good match… 😏 I think it’s pretty clear that Fabian is one lucky boy to be loved so greatly by this whole family. And now he gets to be a permanent part of it with mama Vicki all the way in Idaho!
